Learning Objectives

The learning objectives of this course are to ensure that students demonstrate an understanding of the following:

  1. Review of Hoisting and Rigging Basics manual and PowerPoint
  2. Review of administrative material including registration forms, supplemental material and Student Exam.
  3. Review and demonstration of Practical components associated with the course
  4. Instructor Teach back presentations

Pre-Requisites

  • Completion of Red Tail Instructor Development Program
  • Minimum three-year experience with Hoisting and Rigging (References Required)
    • (Additional work experience may qualify please contact our admin team for details.)
  • Current Hoisting and Rigging certificate valid on the first day of the Train the Trainer course

Course Recognition

The standards in this program meet or exceed all requirements of CSA, Canada Labour Code, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations for all provinces and territories (excluding Quebec).

As Per CSA B167-16 (R2021), CSA Z1001-18(R2022) AB Part 21, B.C Reg Part 15, Manitoba Part 23 and Sask Part 13.
