Front End Loader Operator

This 8-hr course will provide the student with the necessary skills to confidently present a Front End Loader Operator course. The class will be presented with both theory and practical portions designed to enhance the student’s knowledge and practical experience in Front End Loader Operation.

Front-end loaders are one of the most used types of heavy equipment. These machines are found in a variety of industries completing a magnitude of different tasks. These machines may not be the largest or viewed as the most hazardous on a job, but year after year they are responsible for many injuries and fatalities.

Learning Objectives

The learning objectives of this course are to ensure that students demonstrate an understanding of the following:

  1. Instructor-led review of the current Red Tail Front End Loader Operator course
  2. Instructor-led practical skills assessment
  3. Instructor manual
  4. Access to additional resources through the Red Tail Website Portal
  5. Class Discussion

Pre-Requisites

  • Completion of Red Tail Instructor Development Program
  • Minimum three-year experience with Front End Loader Operation (References Required)
    • (Additional work experience may qualify please contact our admin team for details)
  • Current Front End Loader Operator certificate valid on the first day of the Train the Trainer course

Course Recognition

The standards in this program meet or exceed all requirements of CSA, Canada Labour Code, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations for all provinces and territories (excluding Quebec).

As Per CSA Z1001-18(R2022) AB Part 19 , B.C Reg Part 16, Manitoba Part 22 and Sask Part 11.
