This 8-hr course will provide the student with the necessary skills to confidently present a Confined Space Awareness, Entry and Monitor course. The class will be presented with both a theory and practical portions designed to enhance the student’s knowledge and practical experience using our provided CSE props.

This course includes an instructor-led review of the current Red Tail Confined Space Awareness, Entry and Monitor Course, instructor-led practical skills assessment, instructor manual, class discussion, student-led presentations and access to additional resources through the Red Tail website portal. Upon successful completion of both the Train the Trainer course and a course audit. The instructor will be certified for three years.

Learning Objectives

The learning objectives of this course are to ensure that students demonstrate an understanding of the following:

  1. Review of Confined Space Awareness, Entry and Monitor course manual and PowerPoint
  2. Review of administrative material including registration forms, supplemental material and Student Exam.
  3. Review and demonstration of Practical components associated with the course.
  4. Instructor Teach back presentations.

Course Recognition

The standards in this program meet or exceed all requirements of the CSA, Canada Labour Code, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations for all provinces and territories (excluding Quebec).
